Last June Tiger Woods won the United States Open at Torrey Pines in La Jolla, California basically on one leg. He had both a stress fracture and a torn ACL in his left leg and knee. After 8 months Tiger is back this week at the World Golf Championship Accenture Match Play at Dove Mountain, Arizona. To mark his comeback I though it would be fun to take a look at a couple of Tiger’s homes.
Tiger Woods is arguably the most famous and recognizable athlete in the world. Not surprisingly his homes are in very secure, gated communities. He owns two properties on the Butler Chain of Lakes in Isleworth near Orlando. His golf villa is located on 
Lake Louise with 2 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 2,096 square feet, and his main residence for the moment is on Lake Isleworth with 8 bedrooms, 9 bathrooms, 3 stories, and 6,692 square feet. Check out the Isleworth website, I had the opportunity to visit the development a few years back and it is quite a place.
Woods is building a larger home on Jupiter Island, where he bought the 10-acre parcel of land in 2006 for $38-million. The property included two boat docks and four houses at the time W
oods bought it. He has also purchased a number of other homes on the island. Woods, whose income of more than $100+ million a year makes him the highest-paid athlete in history, plans to build a family compound. Jupiter Island is the most expensive real estate zip code in the country according to Forbes and has been home to the nations wealthiest families for nearly a century. Golfers Jack Nicklaus and Greg Norman also reside on the Island. And in case you were wondering, YES, Woods’ 155-foot yacht “Privacy”, which the golf star now docks in North Palm Beach, could be accommodated at one of the docks.
Tiger also owns land and homes in Maui and a ranch in Jackson Hole Wyoming and I’m quite sure in several other places this blogger is unaware of.
